Finding my inner Goddess

Hello Darlings! My name is Mel and I am the photographer for Skin Deep Photo. I’ll give you the quick version of how Skin Deep started. In 2015, I focused on my creative journey and wanted to find my niche. I met some amazing people along the way and enjoyed brainstorming with other creatives and models. The focus was to empower women through photography which is where “Every woman deserves to feel like a Goddess” comes from. Long story short, here we are 8 years later.

In the 8 years, I have been published in multiple magazines, 3 online articles, met some amazing artists/models that I now call my friends and I have fallen in love with photography on a deeper level. It wasn’t all sunshine and roses, I struggled with my mental health for a few years and it caused me to fall out of love with Skin Deep. I didn’t realize it then but I was on my own journey to find my inner Goddess.

I was finding confidence, self love and peace within myself and now Skin Deep and I transformed into who we are today. And guess what? We’re still growing. I’ll continue to learn, create and evolve on this path. I’m so excited to share this journey all of you.
